Introduction of Scheme The Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Scheme was launched by the Government of Maharashtra in the year 2023. The government's main aim behind launching this scheme is to support small and marginal farmers of the State by providing them additional financial support. Earlier, Farmers are receiving Rs. 6,000/- per year under the Central Government's PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme. With this scheme, Farmers of Maharashtra will now receive yearly financial assistance of Rs. 12,000/-. Maharashtra Government will disburse this amount in 3 equal installments directly in the aadhaar-linked bank account of farmers. Rs. 2,000/- as the first installment will be received by farmers from April to July. Rs. 2,000/- as the second installment will be received by farmers from August to November.
